3. Find out where your selected online college is registered for accreditation. You will need this to be exact and verified as most employers don’t really care where you do your degree! But for it to be accepted as a part of your resume, it definitely has to be accredited! So make sure it is by logging on to the accreditation sites and putting in your college name.
4. Make sure the degree you have applied for is accepted in the state you are in as a few states have different rules for different degrees. Find out whether the online degree course accepts transferred credits; most colleges do accept it but try to remember that it’s best to clear it up front.
5. Do you get refunds for taking a drop in the course? As it’s an online course you may not be able to complete it in one shot so clarify the refund policy or continuation policy you can use in case of emergencies. Check out the faculty and the credentials of the faulty who will be teaching you. You need experts who are available for you to clear your doubts and who are experts in their fields.
